Bagani' talents in road crash, producer confirms

Over a dozen talents of the ABS-CBN fantaserye "Bagani" were recently involved in a road crash, producer Star Creatives has confirmed, saying it continues to monitor the condition of those hurt in the incident.
In a press conference Thursday, Star Creatives advertising and promotions manager Mico del Rosario said the crash happened on Wednesday, March 14, and involved 19 talents of the primetime series.
"Unfortunately, yesterday, there was an accident in NLEX. 'Yung sinasakyan pong jeep nung talents -- there were 19 of them -- medyo nagkaroon ng problema 'yung makina, tumaob po," he said.
A social media update of the NLEX operator Metro Pacific Tollways showed a crash occurred at around 6 a.m. Wednesday on the northbound side of its Meycauayan stretch, causing heavy traffic at the time.

As of 6:15 AM, slow moving after Meycauayan NB due to accident occupying two left lanes. Ongoing recovery of the vehicle involved. Please pass with care!
There were no serious injuries in the incident involving "Bagani" talents, del Rosario added, saying they have all been discharged from the hospital.
"Ang kagandahan po, wala naman pong major injuries, at dinala po sila lahat sa ospital para ma-check. They're all fine now, they were sent home. Tsini-check po ng ABS-CBN ang kalagayan nila until now and in the succeeding days," he said.
Del Rosario gave an update on the incident after it was brought up during the press conference, which had cast members of "Bagani" on stage at ABS-CBN's Dolphy Theater in Quezon City.

"Bagani," which is set in the fictituous Sansinukob, is seen as the latest big-budget fantaserye of ABS-CBN with elaborate sets, location shoots, and numerous scenes involving large groups, hence its demand for talents or extras.
